The newest place to eat in town, Sue & Me Eatery opened its doors quietly at 7:00am Saturday morning.  The aim was a soft opening, say owners Lance and Sue, a chance to feel out the town and announce their presence slowly.  However, good news travels fast, and at closing on Saturday, Lance was pleasantly surprised.  “We have only had a few minutes since we opened the door this morning when we didn’t have someone at a table.”

Husband and wife team bring fresh menu to Warfield Take-Out

Lance and Soo Ewasiuk have brought Chinese food back to the village and added pizza and baked goods to Warfield Take-Out’s menu.

They previously owned a bakery in Nova Scotia, and some loyal customers requested the sweet potato bread that had made them famous back east. Warfield Take-out evolved from there, and now offers an eclectic variety of bakery items (including gluten-free choices), hand-made pizza and Chinese food with sauces made from scratch. The community of Warfield has welcomed the business warmly, and plans are in the works for further expansion of Soo's famously delicious gluten-free products.
